July 24th

As is the tradition in the Martineau family....every July 24th since the beginning of time....everyone went up to Uncle Siegfried's cabin to celebrate Pioneer Day. He has a house/cabin up Lambs Canyon that is a fabulous setting for a July 24th BBQ.
One of the many times of us trying to keep Payton contained. Too many temptations in the mountains.....rocks, dirt, and water were just calling her name.

It usually takes a while to get around to it, but once it's all ready....the food is always well worth the wait. Pork steaks, ribs, and shish-ka-bobs on the grill and tons of yummy salads and desserts.
Since Payton wanted to be all over the place grandma helped her explore the pond.
Here's to another successful July 24th! Any excuse for a day off of work is just fine with me.
